HARC produces and publishes a quarterly research journal focused on the intersections of policy and behavior in society. JoPAB is an open access peer-reviewed research journal cataloged by the Library of Congress (ISSN pending).
HARC established a semi-annual academic and professional research conference to provide opportunities for presenting appropriate research and analysis to interested communities. Appropriate call-for-papers are announced monthly and are curated for potential program inclusion.
HARC participates in a wide range of ongoing research actions and study initiatives with other organizations that share similar goals and seek improved societal awareness. Our organizational output and methodology relies on strong relationships with educational institutions, government research entities, and current analysis in the public space.
HARC publishes books and other media that draw on research and analysis generated by its organizational work, staff researchers, and other professional contributors. HARC publishing provides an opportunity for appropriate researchers to produce quality products that support the purpose and mission of HARC, while expanding the depth of their published works and academic profile.
HARC primarily releases research products that support analysis in public policy, behavioral sciences, and impacts for society. These study areas are the centerpiece for improved understanding of stable pathways to a better global sustainability. Research does not evolve in a vacuum, and requires deep interactions within other influential and interconnected areas. Accordingly, HARC produces work in diplomacy, international affairs, global sustainability, world economics, peacekeeping, and civil-military actions.
HARC maintains a regular blog for articles, essays, and shorter-version communications that provide commentary and analysis on current and emergent issues within the scope of HARC's interests. HARC Staff generate most of the blog posts, but also afford opportunity for guest authors as well. HARC Editors review all submissions and have final editorial control for all posts.
